How Cutting Calories Can Hurt Your Diet

If you are trying to lose weight, you may have noticed that some of your calorie cutting ideals haven’t worked, or maybe you’ve even gained weight in conjunction with them. At least this is what some experts are saying about certain calorie cutting habits of the common dieter. Eliza Zied R.D., a spokeswoman for the American Dietic Association states, “In their quest to lose weight, many women unknowingly sabotage themselves.” It seems the best of intentions are always the ones to end up in the worst of places.

But especially if you are eating like Arnold Schwarzenegger, but not perform like Arnold Schwarzenegger, you probably should cut calories. SO what is the right way to do it? First of all, eat your biggest meals earlier in the day rather than saving them up for dinner. It gives you more time to actually burn those calories, and it also works to suppress your hunger hormones, making it easier for you to actually stick to your caloric goals. If you eat proteins early in the morning, it will actually help you to stay up throughout the day.

In a second turn. That’s not a secret but eat as you need food instead of sticking to your few square meals per day. Snacks are not a bad thing, and it gives your body more of a chance to digest the calories you do take in before your body stores it and turns it into fat. All your meals will be smaller, and while you may be eating the same amount of calories, it gives you a better shot at weight loss.

Third, don’t assume that just because a food comes from your natural foods market or is advertised as “natural”, it is good for you. Natural markets of food sell bacon, high fat steaks, etc. just like any other store. And while it may be organic, that doesn’t mean it’s low fat or good for your health. Moreover, while natural and a plant, can account for 200 calories or more, which is significantly more than they are worth considering how it will affect your appetite. Instead, try grapes. They give you a significant amount more volume and less calories.

Finally, don’t eat only salad leading up to a significant event like a wedding, birthday, etc. It is significantly out of the ordinary, and you will most often crash or gain the weight back after the event, depending on when your body goes into starvation mode and starts holding on as tight as it can to any fat calories you take in.

There are quite a few other tips to leading a healthy lifestyle and a successful weight loss plan. But these are just a few of the major ones. Any diet plan should also be combined with an exercise or fitness plan for the most effective achievements.
